Help Bella the British Bulldog

This is Bella. Bella is a 2 year old British Bulldog, who is loving, gentle and a very sociable companion. We haven’t had her for very long, her previous owners had bred her and generally not taken very good care of her. Unbeknown to us she was sold to us with a urinary tract infection. She is still suffering with this recurring bladder infection and due to the complications with Covid-19 there has been a general lack of fast diagnostic procedures and treatment available. She was on a waiting list at a none profitable vet for a CT scan but because it was classed as a “non-emergency” this could have taken months, we had to find another option, a specialist wanted over £2000 to perform the scan, after lots of looking around we managed to find a fairly affordable scan at a vet practice in Wigan, we managed to scrape the money together from friends and family to pay for the scan. We are currently awaiting the results and although the scan will have told us a lot about the health of her vital organs in the abdomen, it is looking likely that Bella will now need a biopsy to give us a full clear picture of the condition of her bladder. We are looking to raise this money to help pay back the money from the close people who lent it to us, to help towards the biopsy and any treatment that will follow on from this. Me and my partner are both young and we don’t have much money at the moment, we were in the middle of buying a house when we discovered the ill health of Bella, we have spent most of our savings and were financially unprepared to deal with her condition. This is why we have decided to create this go fund me page to ask for help. Bella has been mistreated in the past, she has been bred far too young and generally abused due to her breed. She’s a young, loving, happy and friendly dog with plenty of character that deserves the best.
