Help Becky the Vulcaniser

Hi my name is Osaro Odiase, I am fund raising for Becky Osarume Osagie, of Edo state, Nigeria, who was a victim of human trafficking. She was ferried to Italy on the guise of a decent job. However, she soon realised the available job was prostitution and to pay back €35k, so she didn’t want to have anything to do with it.

She consequently defied all odds and found her way back to Nigeria. On arrival, she was faced with poverty and several challenges, but one thing she NEVER wanted to do, is become dependent and take advantage of her gender like some of her peers do. Instead, she decided to venture into uncharted territory for women because of lack of suitable alternatives, becoming a vulcaniser; a very physical and challenging job.

I came across her story online like most of you have, so I decided to help raise fund for her to set up a standard workshop with equipment that will help take her business to greater heights. I have determined that €6000 will be moderately sufficient to set up a standard workshop for her. Taking the rapid inflation rate in Nigeria, I appeal for urgent donations within 3 to 4 weeks, otherwise the donations realised may become insufficient to meet Becky's needs.
