Hello everyone!
My dog Beau is 1 and 1/2 years old and was hit by a car four days ago.  He is a yellow lab with a big personality filled with a lot of love . He sustained multiple injuries to his lungs. Both lungs collapsed,  multiple fractured ribs, contusions, pneumothoraxes and he then had to be put on a ventilator. His medical treatment and life support cost around $12,000. This dog means the world to me and my family. We were devastated and immediately did everything possible to keep him alive. He went to three different Vet hospitals within the span of three hours. He only had a 30% chance of survival. After 36 hours on a ventilator and oxygen support he then got penumonia which made the odds even lower. When put in a position like this any money goes right towards making sure he is kept alive and okay. Because of the ventilator and Penn Vet Hospital's amazing medical staff, Beau has almost made a full recovery in a matter of three days. He is still not 100% back to being himself, but with love and support we believe he can get there. It is truly a miracle to know that he came back from this. Any donation you could make is so greatly appreciated! We love Beau so much and are so happy to have him in our lives. We are ready for our baby to come home to us!! *****Half of the donations made are going to be given to a charity or family who can't afford to help save their pet's life in a situation like this.
