Help Beatrix fight cancer

HI may name is Jason and I am fund raising for the Bortha family to help offset the cost of medical expenses and medications.

Beatrix was diagnosed with Stage 3 Tripplr Negative Breast Cancer and breast cancer on her liver. Although her medical treatment in hospital will be covered there are many cost including medications and loss of work due to treatments. Most of us maritimers are lucky enuf to be surrounded by our family however the Botha family is new to Canada which means a much smaller support system to reply on. Being away from your family during such a unsure time in your life is very stessful. Our goal is to help relieve some of that stress by funding raising.

In December of 2021 Beatrix found herself in a lot of pain. After seeing a doctor and having tests and scans completed she was diagnosed with her stage 3 breast cancer. Upon further investigation they found 2 masses (one under the arm, throat, in her lympnodes and in her liver. Due to being under 40 years of age they have fast tracked her treatments. Beatrix will have to go through 24 weeks (6 cycles) of Chemotherapy to start.

Cancer is a very scary thing and Beatrix is tackling it head on and with your help we can make this fight just a little easier for her, her 12 year old son and husband Morne.
