Hello my friends,

You may know me as goodlyay, Goodly, or Zoey. Nine years ago I met Bear online and we've been close friends ever since, through good and bad times, sharing smiles, laughs, and tears. We took the above photo together when I traveled across the United States to visit from California.

I'm making this fundraiser because Bear needs our help. They have an extremely serious reoccurring tooth infection which is in the process of spreading to the rest of their body. Not only are tooth infections extremely painful, but if left untreated they can potentially reach the heart and become fatal.

Unfortunately, Bear is currently uninsured after losing their job due to car troubles. They need to have 7 teeth extracted, which is going to cost upward of $4,700, making this life-saving surgery completely unaffordable. I've ultimately set the goal for the fundraiser to $6,000 because their loss of job also means that rent and other expenses are a pressing issue.
