Help BD Little League
Tax deductible
Last night, our little league was robbed. Someone broke into the storage facility and took thousands of dollars worth of equipment. This obviously is a major hit to our little league, our overall baseball program, and our community. I am looking to raise $5,000 to replace all the stolen equipment, which included 12 sets of new catcher's gear, bats, and various other baseball and facility equipment. (Anything beyond would all go to the little league to help support the children in our programs.)
Update: We've hit the $5,000 goal (in about 2.5 hours) thanks to many amazing donations (and one amazing donation from Kirk Herbstreit). At the risk of seeming greedy, I'd like to keep it going. I think some funds could be used to help support our youth soccer and football leagues, who I've learned were also hit last night. Additionally, baseball is a notoriously expensive sport and we live in a district that has many struggle to afford even registering, let alone the equipment necessary to participate. Once again, any and all donations are to support these children and these leagues who are facing a real challenge. But even if this is as far as it goes, what an amazing response to help a league I care about so much. Thank you all!
