I'm reaching out to you today with a heavy heart, but also with a glimmer of hope. Baldev, a vibrant and beloved member of our community, is facing the toughest battle of his life against Stage 4 Colonic Adenocarcinoma.

Baldev, a once healthy and active individual, was visiting his family in the Western suburbs of Melbourne when he was suddenly struck by acute pain. What followed was a whirlwind of hospital visits, tests, and ultimately, a devastating diagnosis. Despite his resilience and the multiple surgeries he has undergone, including laparotomies and colostomy, the financial burden of his treatment has become overwhelming.

To make matters worse, insurance has denied coverage for the entirety of Baldev's treatment, leaving his family struggling to make ends meet. Their dream of seeing Baldev return home to India for ongoing oncological care feels like an impossible feat due to the exorbitant costs involved.

But I refuse to let Baldev's light be dimmed by this darkness. That's why I'm reaching out to you, our community, for support. Together, we can make a difference in Baldev's life.
