Appeal to charitable souls: chain of solidarity to save Badr's family
Badr works in a Casablanca market, where he is a porter and fish cleaner.
Son of Ain Chock's orphanage, he dropped out of college. Being forced to leave the orphanage at 18, he has always worked to provide for his needs. Without qualifications, he did some small service work.
He got married and had two daughters (4 and 7 years old) who were staying in a rented room in an apartment. The instability of his income did not allow him to pay regularly his rent.
He ended up homeless. His wife and daughters were welcomed by his in-laws. At the moment, he works as a street guardian at night for a salary of 1300 DH ($130) per month.
Having no place to sleep at his parents-in-law and having been rejected for his inability to provide for his family, he worked at night and joined the market in the morning. He sleeps under a cartonand in the afternoon at the marketplace.
Through the government, he has the opportunity to buy a small appartment for 115,000 DH ($11500). For now, he needs 75,000 DH ($7500) to secure a roof for his family.
I make a call to help Badr and his family. If 250 people offered him DH 300 ($30), they would save a family. If 150 people offered him 500 DH ($50), that would make the happiness of a family.
