Help baby Zaylee
Donation protected
Sweet baby Zaylee was born Jan 27, 2019, weighing 5lbs 7oz. Megan and Matt were thrilled to finally meet their precious baby girl. Upon her initial exam, the pediatrician discovered a heart murmur, cleft palate and also determined that baby Zaylee was not maintaining her glucose levels. These complications landed her in NICU for further monitoring. An echocardiogram later revealed that the wall between her two lower heart chambers was not fully formed and had left a "hole" in her precious, tiny heart.
Baby Zaylee has been transferred to the Children's hospital in Stanford where she will be under the care of pediatric cardiologists who will determine a date for surgery to repair her heart. Even after surgery she will most likely require continued specialty care in cities that are hundreds of miles from home on her road to recovery.
With medical expenses rising, the cost of travel (Stanford being 260 miles from home), lodging and time off of work, income is very limited. We are asking everyone to come together and support them any way possible to help get them through this worrisome and emotional process. This is an extremely trying time for the family and they deserve to stay focused with their main concern being baby Zaylee getting healthy.
Please consider donating,..any amount helps and is appreciated immensely!
