On September 22nd our son Rowan D. Flores was born at 35 weeks weighing 3lbs and 10 oz. He was placed in the NICU for his low weight. Other then that, he was healthy and doing great. Not even 24 hours later the negligence of a nurse at Adventist Health and Rideout hospital in Marysville “mistakenly “ gave my pain medicine (toradol) to baby Rowan. The hospital told us they were 99.9 % sure that the baby did not get that much of it and to not worry. Not even 12 hours later the doctor said they were transferring him to another hospital because his kidneys were not doing the best. They immediately discharged me right after as well ( 2nd c section about 48 hours in). Since we have been at the new hospital they informed us that baby Rowan was giving 7 out of the 8 ml that were given and has kidney injuries that could potentially turn into kidney failure and affect him the rest of his life. As of right now the hospital we are currently at is also saying there is a possibility of transferring him again to Stanford hospital for dialysis treatment. The reason we are setting up this go fund me is for a little bit of help on our rent, hotel stays and bills. Our obstacles that have been placed in front of us have put a pause on making money in our financial situation and will continue until further notice. Please any amount u can donate would be greatly appreciated. If you can’t donate please share our gofundme for baby Rowan, Thank you.
