Help Baby Graham Get Better
Donation protected
Hello all.. Yesterday June 11th @ 1:38 PM, our beautiful boy Graham Waabgonii Giizis Callaghan-McGregor was born in Sudbury at Health Sciences North. We had originally planned on a normal birth but then ended up performing a C-Section. After all was said and done our baby boy was finally here in our arms, we were filled with joy. We had been waiting forever! 3 hours later we were quickly brought back to reality. Our baby boy was having multiple complications. After only 3 hours of having him in our arms, he was quickly sent to the NICU centre at Health Sciences North. He was having low blood sugar, seizures, and was not acting right. After further investigation we found out that he had been diagnosed with Intraventricular Hemorrhage (Stage 4). That same night sick kids was called and recommended we head there ASAP. They did not know why this had happened, especially since he is a full term baby. Myself (nick) and our son Graham were flown to Sick kids in Toronto (5am) with 2 ACT Nurses from sick kids. We are currently waiting for the arrival of his mother to be here in Toronto with us so we can figure out what is going on with our baby boy. This has all happened within 24 hours and we don’t know what to think. We are reaching out in hopes that people will help/support our journey to get Graham the help he needs to get past this. It feel like a horrible dream but we know he is at the best hospital in Canada. Thank you everyone for your prayers and wishes. We will be following with updates. Much love from our Little family, Nick, Tahn, Graham, Oscar & Lucy.
