Help B Move to Safety

Dear friends, 
As you may know, our friend B was attacked while at work by a man she had never seen before. It didn't end there, unfortunately. The offender continues to fixate on her. He has come back to the library, called the library,  and sent strange letters and "gifts". Those of us that know B are very, very worried that since she lives so close to the library, she is in danger of being spotted and followed home.  (To protect her privacy and safety I am not including her name here.)

The good news - she has found a safer place to live. This is where we need your help. We are asking for help with the deposit and moving costs. She may also need money for a lawyer to help her terminate her lease early.  We are estimating that $1,500 should be enough to cover it.

We have to act quickly - you probably are aware of how difficult finding a place is in Portland. We also (obviously) want to get her out of her current place ASAP.
