Help B into long-term accomodation!

B is a homeless trans sex worker asking for support in moving into a van. This plan would help B become sustainably housed and able to exit sex work.

About B

B is a 30 year old woman and part of the London queer community as a frequent meeting/workshop facilitator. She has been a part of various activist groups fighting for better trans healthcare, housing rights and against Tory austerity. B is a working class woman, holds no uni qualifications and has been diagnosed with ADHD. Over the last few years she has been recovering and navigating several traumas relating to transphobia and from sexual assaults, and has built up her self esteem after recovering from suicidal low points. Her priorities are to begin earning an income through grass roots publishing once housed, and resume actively participating in building supportive community on a local level.

About the Van

B has a wide range of self-taught skills including carpentry, spot welding, and other useful capabilities that will enable her to refit a used van to become her home. The van itself will be bought used, and many of the raw materials will be scavenged - wood from pallets, items from freecycle etc. B has some funds already saved from sex work and squatting, and is seeking additional funds to help cover unavoidable costs beyond the van, such as electricals, cookware, fixings and tool hire.

Donating to this fund will help a precarious person with limited options into sustainable accommodation long-term. It will mean allowing a sexual assault survivor room to heal. Your donations will be received with absolute gratefulness and will make a huge different to B's life.
