Help Ayman's family evacuate from Gaza War

Hello Everyone,

Ayman, is Amany’s father. He used to be a marine lifeguard. He spent 25 years of his life saving people’s lives. But today, I believe it’s our turn to pay him back and save his life along with his wife and children.

Here’s Amany’s message to you:

Dear All,

My name is Amany Arafat, a Palestinian from Gaza. We are a family of 7 (my mother Kamilia, my father Ayman, my brother Mohammed, myself, and my sisters Menna, Dalia, and Hala).

We used to live together a quiet and beautiful life. Our house overlooked the seashore, and our happiest moments of the day were when we all sit together watching the sunset from the window of the house.

Unfortunately, since the war launched on Gaza, our dreams turned into nightmares! Our memories were shattered and turned to ashes! Our house which we used to live in, is now destroyed and they are living in a tent, in miserable conditions, with no food or water and no access to health.

One month before the start of the War on Gaza, I started a new journey in my life, I got engaged to the love of my life. We were planning to hold a big wedding and celebrate with our families after my graduation. However, we could not hold a wedding and I could not graduate!

On 30th October 2023, our neighbor's house was demolished to the ground, hence, the roof of our house fell on us! We were pulled from under the rubble! For a second, I thought I was dead! I heard my father calling us to ensure our safety! He was injured a I was praying that they save him before it’s too late! attaching a video below.

My fiance (now my husband) is an American Citizen, he managed to evacuate us both to Egypt. I had to take such a tough decision and leave my family behind! With no wedding and no celebration!

It has been tough and hard on me to leave my family behind! under bombardment, suffering shortage of food, lack of drinkable water and no access to health!
