Help Autistic Child's Lost Companion Dog Get Home

I'm Gayla Taylor, my nephew is Merrick. He is 8 years old and is a non-vocal autistic child. He has had his companion dog Sky for three years. Sky went missing near Albuquerque, New Mexico as he and his mother were being moved to Indiana from California. Thanks to the powers of kind people and social media, Sky was located in Grants, New Mexico. Now we need to get her home. Urgent lost pet ads, shelter support and transportation are quite expensive. We hoped to be able to fly Sky home because Merrick has not eaten for two days now and his little heart is broken. In four days his father lost his dog and then left Merrick and his mother, without a job in Indiana to go back to his life in California. (full story here)

The soonest a regular transport can pick Sky up is February 6th, for Merrick and Sky's sake, we hope to get transportation expedited.
