Help Austin Mowry Fight Back Cancer
Donation protected
Austin was first diagnosed with T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma in May of 2015. He underwent months of intense chemotherapy and multiple hospital stays. In August 2015 he was in remission but a year and a half of maintenance treatments remained. These months went by with illnesses that landed him back in the hospital on multiple occasions. On September 11th, 2017 he took his last chemotherapy medicine. He was happy and becoming more of his old self everyday. Not quite 6 months later, it's back. Now he is undergoing more chemotherapy and steroids. The goal is to shrink it, kill it again to get him back in remission, and this time finish off with a possible cure with a bone marrow transplant. We just started checking in to matching of bone marrow with his sister Madison which we are hoping if she is a match they can use her cord blood from birth which we were able to save during the time Austin was going through the first fight. Right now it's still a waiting game. His doctors are hopeful this will cure, but reassurance is lacking. His chances of it returning from the first time was less than 5%, they all said it was not supposed to come back. Thank you for your prayers and support. It will be a long road ahead with probably even more hospital stays.
