Audrey has been cross country skiing since she was two years old, starting in our front yard. What began as a way to get some energy out in the winter has become her passion. Over the years, she has dedicated countless hours to training and racing, always pushing herself to improve and reach new goals. Now, as she looks ahead to graduating high school in two years, Audrey dreams of skiing for a Division 1 nordic ski team and continuing to pursue her love for the sport at the highest level.

Last year, Audrey qualified for the U16 midwest trip, but we made the difficult decision not to send her due to the high financial cost. This year, with just one weekend of racing left, she is in a position to qualify for the midwest nationals team or, at the very least, attend the U18 trip to compete in the Canadian Nationals races. These are incredible opportunities that could help her take the next big step in her skiing journey, but they come with significant expenses. With race suits and warmup jackets already ordered, and the costs of travel and participation, we are reaching out for support. As a teacher and coach, our family budget is tight, and we simply do not have the resources to cover these costs on our own.
