Help Athena's Family

I am starting this GoFundMe for my best friend of 20 years. Athena is an amazing woman who is going through a very difficult time right now. On June 28th, Athena's husband Bobby's intestines burst suddenly due to a stomach infection. He was immediately taken to surgery where doctors removed a foot of his intestines. He was then returned to the ICU where he remained for 5 days. Bobby is currently still recovering but once well enough, he will be taken back into surgery to return his colon to proper working order. 

Unfortunately, Bobby will not be able to return to work for the next year. Athena and Bobby have four children together and although Athena is doing all she can, she is still struggling to figure out how she will deal with the medical bills  and cover basic necessities while Bobby is out of work.
