Help Asma fight Leukaemia!

Hello everyone, my name is Siddiq aka Sid. I am the half of my better half. In mid October 2020 for few days my wife Asma got tired and was out of breath just from doing a little bit of work around the house. It was concerning so I took my wife to our family doctor for check up. It was the next early morning I received the phone call from our doctor I needed to admit Asma into the emergency because the doctor’s concern of Asma’s hemoglobin being very low. In the emergency she got the blood transfusion.

We thought that was it and she would be discharged in two days. But that wasn’t the case. The doctor at the hospital said they need to transfer her to Princess Margaret in downtown because they specialized in blood testing when a person’s blood level drops this low@48. We thought ok after the blood test I would be picking my wife and take her home. But they said no they need to keep her for more tests. I was getting more concerned but not showing the concern on my face to my wife. After few days the doctors called me in to talk and it was that dreaded day my beautiful wife, the mother of my kids was diagnosed with Leukaemia ( blood cancer). This was so devastating and I felt the ground beneath my feet was shaken. Seeing my wife in tears there was no way I was going to let her see me cry so I just cried inside to be strong for her.

The doctors said she will have to go through Chemotherapy, Appendix surgery and may need a bone marrow transplant. This was a lot but I prayed to God to heal my wife 100% and keep me strong for my wife and my kids.

I understand we all are going through difficult days. Your donations will help me pay for her hospital stay, prescription drugs and my other expenses as I have not been to work on a regular basis. So I ask for your support and remember my family in your prayers as we shall you.
