Help Ashlinn and family battle Leukemia

Hi, my name is Hannah and I am fundraising for my best friend's daughter Ashlinn. Ashlinn is a spunky and fierce 9 year old little girl. She loves to play basketball and jazz and hip hop classes. She enjoys writing stories and bringing her imagination to life. Ashlinn is a sweet, kind hearted child who is facing a long and hard journey that no child should ever have to face. On October 16, 2021 she was taken to the hospital with a very high fever. After some labs were taken, it was discovered that her white blood cell count was dangerously low. She was then flown to the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children. There they did additional testing without much of an answer as to what was causing this. They thought it might be an infection her body was trying really hard to fight off. They returned home and continued on with life while taking precautions to try and keep her healthy. As time went on, Ashlinn continued to suffer from high fevers, headaches, feeling lethargic and a skin infection. Her parents, Nikki and Aadam, were referred to a specialist in Denver who has been monitoring her labs for the last couple of months. He decided the best thing to do next was to do a bone marrow biopsy. March 8th she had the procedure done. The results came back and Ashlinn has officially been diagnosed with Leukemia. They have caught it early and started chemo right away. Her and her mother will be in Denver for a minimum of a month for daily rounds of chemo. Aadam will have to return to work after this weekend. I have set up this page to help raise money for food, gas, medical expenses and all around basic needs. This will help make sure Aadam and their 2 year old son will be able to make it back and forth to visit. Ashlinn has a fighting spirit and she will kick this cancer's ass
