Help Ashley with Living Expenses for the Summer

Hi, my name is Ashley Brea. I am a First-Generation Low-Income student studying Psychology and African Studies at Wesleyan University. With the love and support from my friends and family, I have made it far in my college career and spent a great deal of time getting my finances in order as I prepare for post-Grad.

Due to the drastic impacts of the pandemic, I used most of my savings to cover the cost of living. In addition to those expenses, much of my spending was put towards the maintenance of my 2002 car because of the many car troubles that started to arise. As of now, the total cost of repairs to my car would be worth more than the vehicle itself.

 As I near my 2022 graduation date, my finances have been a great source of anxiety. It is not easy to ask for help, especially given the many blessings in my life that make me feel fortunate during these trying times. Nonetheless, I am coming to you all humble and hopeful that you will find it in your hearts to help me achieve this goal. Whether you shout this page out or donate, it would mean a lot to me and my family as we try to carry the financial burden of purchasing a vehicle. Using the money raised in this GoFundMe, I will invest in a used car for myself and my family. This vehicle is more than a "Hot Ride" for a Hot Girl like myself; it is a source of security and reliable transportation as I begin the next chapter of my life.
