Help Ashley Survive A Tracheal Collapse

Donation protected
Hi my name is Gary and I am fundraising for Ashley, who belonged to Hector who had to give up Ashley in order to enter hospice care. Ashley is about 2 years old and very curious and playful. In the early morning hours on Sunday December 10th I noticed her breathing was very heavy, she was gasping. She visited the ER vet when they opened that morning. X-rays were made and the vet explained the trachea was very thin. This would require a specialist to fully diagnose and a bill estimate for corrective surgery I can’t afford as we have already spent close to $1000 already to get this far. The vet gave her a steroidal shot that doesn’t seem to be providing her relief. She is struggling to breathe and lethargic. Ashley needs to go to the pet Hospital at the University of Gainesville. To be transparent the initial fee of seeing her is just under $200. However, the low to high end estimate of getting the surgery and the stent so she can breathe normally ranges from $4,000 to $5000 on the high end, not including any medications that might be necessary. They will require that I put down 75 percent of the high end estimate for them to perform surgery. Ashley’s health has been rapidly deteriorating in just the past few days so to get this money would literally save her life as the other option if this fails would be euthanasia. We don’t want that to happen so please donate. Help save this beautiful animal.
