Help Ashley Rebuild After Domestic Abuse

Hello everyone, I am creating this for my sister Ashley. About a month ago, my sister's husband essentially held her, my disabled father, and her son hostage in their house for 4 days without her phone or keys to her vehicle and started mentally, verbally, emotionally, and then quickly physically abusing her. He would come and go as he pleased but would blow up my dad's phone and keep her up essentially for 4 days straight. He was stalking her on their camera they had inside and was threatening to kill her and told her to not involve her family or it would make the situation worse. This all happened as we would later find out due to him relapsing and doing drugs again. He accused my sister of doing horrible things over the course of their relationship and essentially tried saying she put their son at risk of having things done to him. Our family quickly stepped in once we found out what was going on and was able to get him arrested. At this point in time, none of our family knew that the mental and verbal abuse had progressed to physical until my sister had gone to the police station to make a report. Fast forward a week later, while he was out on supervised ROR, he managed to convince my sister into meeting up with him and our family stepped in again to get him arrested for breaking the no-contact order that was part of his pretrial release conditions. With all that being said, where we are left at now is they own a business together and because he is currently incarcerated and my sister hasn't worked in over 4 years because he made it that way, she has no way of paying the bills.

My sister Ashley has a 2 and a half-year-old son and takes care of our father who is disabled. She has no job and As we are dealing with the legal side of everything and trying to figure out the business portion of everything, I am making this GoFundMe in hopes that I can take the financial stress of this situation off her hands until she gets through with all the legal parts and finding childcare for her son. Our family is doing everything we can to help her and support her as much as we can but financially is something we just aren't able to do. There are still ongoing court dates and things happening as it's only been a month, but I know that survivors of domestic violence are not only mentally, emotionally, verbally, and physically abused but they also experience financial abuse and we are trying our hardest to help her get through this terrible time and hoping that this GoFundMe will help her get through at least the next couple of months without having to worry about the bills.
