Let's Get Ashleigh Cancer Free

Donation protected
As many of you know, Ashleigh was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer on 4/7/2020. Triple Negative breast cancer (TNBC), is a type of breast cancer with fewer treatment options and that tends to be more aggressive than other types. 10- 20% of all breast cancer diagnoses(depending on what site you look at) are classified under TNBC.  Ashleighs treatment team is going to be treating her aggressively, with chemotherapy every week for a minimum of 12 weeks, followed by surgery.  Because Ashleigh is only 31, she was able to qualify for a new treatment of using immunotherapy in addition to the chemotherapy, that shows increased survival/remission rates. Ashleigh does have another US and MRI this week to make sure the cancer hasn't spread to other areas of her body, but as of right now, her first round of chemo is set to begin Friday, April 17th. Because of the current state of COVID, Ashleigh is having to attend all of her appointments alone, which is absolutely unfathomable as she navigates this uncharted territory and stressful times.     Those of you who are close to Ashleigh, know it is hard for her to ask for help. She is a strong, determined, selfless woman. Ashleigh is a single mom, raising her 11 year old twins on solely her income. We are so blessed with her friendship and is an essential part of keeping our "village" strong.   Ashleigh lost her mom to cancer less than a year ago, so it is our role, as her best friends and village, to make sure she doesn't have to stress about paying her mortgage and her other bills, along with her medical bills that are already mounting.  We want her to focus on getting better, instead of worrying about the financial impact of this devastating diagnosis.  Ashleigh is able to continue working from home, and will be as she is able, but it would be a huge blessing to receive financial help in her time of need.   Please consider helping Ashleigh with her mortgage, insurance, medical bills, household essentials, and other things needed to care for her and her twins during this difficult time.    **this GoFundMe was created with Ashleighs permission and knowledge, and every dollar raised will go directly to her.
