Help Ashlea with CCI treatment
Donation protected
After many years of migraines and neck pain, doctors visits, medications and surgery in 2017, my daughter, Ashlea Whittier, has been diagnosed with CCI (Craniocervical Instability). CCI is a structural instability of the craniocervical junction and may lead to deformation of the brain stem, upper spinal cord and cerebellum. This lead to her closing her business as a massage therapist and giving up most activities that she enjoyed, skiing, walking, jogging, yoga to name a few. We feel very fortunate to have found a treatment facility, Regenexx in Broomfield, CO that does stem cell injections into the ligaments. The only other option available would be fusing her skull to her neck leaving her with virtually no range of motion. My daughter is scheduled for this stem cell procedure March 12, 2019. This procedure is not covered by her insurance and she may need more than one of these procedures. Her goal is to be able to regain her life and some normalcy to it as it's been hard for her to accept this chronic pain. She hopes to be able to enjoy activities with her family and to be able to contribute again being in the work force. We are so immensely grateful to you all for your prayers and help. Thank you!
