Help Arwa and Ibrahim Evacuate Gaza NOW

'It is the 8th time my family and I have been displaced since October 7th. Gaza has been cut into pieces and my entire family has been divided up as a result of it. One flung here, the other flung there, broken up by the red line that divides the north and the south. It feels like we are world’s apart and just towing the line between life and death. I miss them so much, I miss my big, close-knit family. Now my brother and I are the only ones bearing the family name. My name is Arwa, I am a 22 year old girl from Gaza living with just my 16 year old brother, Ibrahim. We were separated from the rest of our family when the Israeli army began their land invasion of the north. My family and I were so scared! Bombs were flying all around us as bullets chased us down, and as much as it pained us to leave we had to flee. The journey to the south was very painful, we walked for days and lost some family members along the way. We had a lack of food and water, and on top of that we had to endure many attacks from bombs, white phosphorus, and bullets that led to further separation from the family I had left! Now it is just my brother and I in Rafah. There is no drinking water or food, any food that is available comes with a steep price. To get things here in Gaza you’ll either pay with a large fee or your life. Every day, early in the morning, my teenage brother gets up to try and provide for us, but everyday he comes back empty handed because there is nothing left in Gaza. He is supposed to be in high school but now he risks his life to go out just to find something for us to drink!. It is so cold here, we sleep on the ground that is wet with sewage water and we have no closed toe shoes or winter jackets to keep us warm. We go to sleep with fear in our bellies to mask our hunger. It is painful to grieve and to watch my brother grieve. I was studying business administration, and I was so happy to be furthering my education and fufilling my passion. It was my dream back then, now my dream is to see me and my brother live. My dream is to be safe. The only option for us now is to evacuate Gaza, and I have hope that we can be helped, that we can be saved. In these dark times, I place my hope in God and you. I ask that you please consider me and Ibrahim, please help us evacuate Gaza and live. Thank you so so much.”
