On the 22nd of March 2021 around 10.20 PM, a fatal car crash happened in Stanthorpe, Queensland. A truck travelling south on the New England Highway has collided with a sedan travelling in the opposite direction near the intersection with McGlew Street. The driver of the car, a local man in his twenties, died at the scene.
Unfortunately, the driver is one of our friends/family who come from Indonesia.
Arie H Putra came to Australia to chase his dream on Working Holiday Visa since 2019. This tragic accident has left his family back home in Indonesia broken. The only one Arie's family in Australia is his brother, Fahsya Putra.
After some discussion with the family, they have decided to have a funeral here in Brisbane, Australia instead of bringing him back to Indonesia. This means his family can't see him for the last time.
With no insurance and a little support here in Australia, I hope we as a community could help his funeral cost as we know it costs a fortune.
**All the fund will go to his brother, Fahsya Azani Putra.
