Hello! My name is Annay Wheatle, and I am in my second year at the Norman Manley Law School, where I will obtain my Legal Education Certificate (LEC). I completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at the University of Technology, where I graduated with First Class Honors and was awarded the President's Pin.

Growing up, I always aspired to be an attorney, not because of the thrill I received from watching movies but instead, I recognized the impact I could leave in a person's life by giving a voice to those who had a story to tell but were not in a position to speak. Therefore, I truly believe I can positively impact the legal sphere by using my academic prowess, as my goal is to represent and speak for those who cannot do so themselves.

 

I am from a humble home in rural South Manchester, Jamaica, and I am determined to achieve my full potential despite my rural beginnings; I will not allow my ambitions to be thwarted by my current financial limitations. My tuition, textbooks, incidental fees and other expenses for the academic year 2022/ 2023 is approximately USD $10,000.00. These fees are needed for September 1, 2022.

I will always make it my duty to explore every avenue on the path to success. So here I am, laying myself bare and appealing to your benevolence to make my dream a reality. No donation is too small, so help me today so that I may help our nation tomorrow.
