Help Animals in Crisis in Los Angeles

The ongoing crisis of understaffed and overcrowded Los Angeles animal shelters has reached the peak of no return. Dogs at LA animal shelters go weeks, sometimes months without getting a walk. All of the shelters are full and there is a long waitlist for some animals to even be surrendered to the shelters because of the overcrowding. The dogs are howling and barking so much they are losing their voices. The cats are stressed beyond belief. All these animals want is love and the poor conditions at these shelters are causing the animals to go crazy, acquiring behavioral issues and consequently not getting adopted.

I volunteer at several rescues in LA that are providing humane conditions for these animals to get adopted in good physical and mental condition. My hope is that all the shelter animals get proper care and attention. It's my mission to improve this situation one step at a time since the city of LA has done nothing for years and conditions are at a horrendous all-time low.
