Help for those affected by the fire in Andalusia

Donation protected
The tragic fires around Sierra Bermeja, Jubrique and Genalguacil in Andalusia, Spain call for immediate action, to support those families affected as well as wildlife and domestic animals.

I'm starting this GoFundMe to support the communities and animals affected and in need of IMMEDIATE support.

Commity:
The collections will be sent to Collective Calling which is a non-for-profit organisation that specialises in aid for these kind of events.
They are currently in need of imperishable goods such as tins, pasta, jars , oil, rice, uht milk, baby milk....

As the situation is evolving in terms of needs, it may also be possible to support towards purchasing other commodities such as seeds to help farmers recultivate etc.

Animals:
ARCH charity shop in Alhaurin el Grande is the collection point for items urgently required to treat affected animals by their veterinary, Rocio Ayala Gutiérrez and the team of volunteer vets from the Official College of Veterinaries in Malaga.

The first items needed were:
* Creams: Furacin, Silvederma, Positon, Blastoestimulina *Ophthalmic creams (for corneal ulcers)
*Needles and syringes *Chlorhexidine, Serums, *Catheter and infusion sets
*Bandages, gauze and gloves

As the situation evolves the needs change and may also include food for the wild animals etc.
The voluntary vets were first allowed in to the area later on 14/9 to evaluate the needs.

Support now:
We live locally and will personally purchase those items required and deliver to Collective Calling (food, blankets, clothes etc. for people affected) and to ARCH Charity Shop for their vet and the volunteering team of vets from the Official College of Veterinaries in Malaga to support the animals affected.

Please donate any amount large or small to support those suffering in this tragic situation!!
Thank you!

On Wednesday 8 September a wildfire broke out in the mountains near Estepona, Malaga, Spain and continues blazing and expanding. On Sunday 12/9 alone, the fire doubled in size to now cover a perimeter of 85 km, forcing more than 2500 people to evacuate their homes.
The military has now been set in to support fight the fire which is currently being fought by 45 helicopters and planes, and 350+ firefighters. The fire has has already cost the life on one fireman.
Update 14/9: Heavy rain in the night gave the firefighters a much needed helping hand, and since 7am this morning the fire is now under control.
The organizations are currently working with the local Government on entering the area safely, and continuously evaluation the situation and the needs as they evolve.
