When you walk into Angela McClain’s hair shop one of the first things you see is a sign that reads “If God be for me who can be against me” . Right away you know that she’s a serious ‘sista’ in Christ.
As you get to know her you find out that she’s a peace loving, kind hearted, tough as nails friend. We say, “tough as nails” because, OMG, if you don’t take care of your hair you will feel her wrath. This is why she has clients that reach way back to ten years or more.
Angie has been a constant in a lot of our lives. She has helped us through funerals, divorces, proms, marriages, and many other special occasions.
Now she needs our help. Angie was diagnosed with breast cancer a couple of months ago. She will be undergoing a double mastectomy on July 28, 2017.
Doctors estimate that she will be out of work for at least four months for healing. As everyone knows doctors and hospitals are very costly. That’s where we as her friends come into play.
Let’s all pitch in and help her with medical bills, basic living expenses and any incidentals that need to be taken care of as she triumphs over breast cancer.
Let’s show this wonderful lady how much she means to us by supporting her. She has been there for us. Let’s return the favor and show our love.
