Help Andrew continue spreading joy

Hi there,

My name is Andrew and I'm fundraising to move on with my life after a series of misinformation has damaged my reputation and cost me financially.

One week ago, I danced on the roof of my van with the intention of sharing joy. As far as I understood, it was in line with health advice.

The following day, false statements were issued by the NSW Police Deputy Commissioner alleging what I was doing was clearly, clearly, not marketing or exercise related and was in fact a "pop-up party". The media went crazy with Seven, Nine, The Australia, The Daily Telegraph, The Daily Mail, the Manly Daily and many more covering the incident, including incorrectly mentioning that police had shut down my activities when that was not at all the case.

Police issued me with a $1000 fine 4 days after the incident and it has now lead to the immediate terminination of my main source of consulting income.

Money donated here will go towards the following:

• legal costs in dealing with the penalty and impact on my reputation (I am trying to get as much pro bono and lo bono as possible, but it is likely to still be 10k+)
• supporting my short term cash flow while I secure other work (food, rent etc.)
• getting further professional advice in relation to PR/Media communication
• any remaining money not required for the above will be used to spread joy and community during lockdown in other ways, such as running Instagram live videos connecting strangers.

I really appreciate any and all support at this time. It's been the most stressful 7 days of my life and I simply want to move on.
