Help and Assistance for our Bishop

Hello,

Our names are Jessica and Noel Rivera. We are members of the Italo-Greek Byzantine Orthodox Catholic Church and of the Cathedral Church living in Brooklyn, New York.

Recently, our beloved bishop, His Eminence Archbishop Stephen (Enea) was diagnosed with cancer of the kidney and must have his right kidney removed.

This is a difficult time for the Bishop, as his illness will limit his activities for the next several months. The COVID pandemic already created financial challenges for the Bishop and now, the diagnosis of cancer and impending surgery will add to those challenges.

It is our hope that we can raise some money to help and assist the Bishop financially until he is able to resume his archpastoral duties post surgery and recovery. Thus, we are asking fellow parishioners, members of the Archdiocese, friends, supporters, and all people of good will to help us reach our goal and show our Bishop our love, concern, and support.
