Help Anabela to pay medical fees for her son

Hi All!

We have decided to start a fundraising for Anabela Conceição, who has worked in our office since 2013. She used to be in the office once or twice a week to treat us with manicure pedicure etc., reinventing herself when needed, offering hand-made jewellery and sewing services for example. She was not only offering us this nice service at work, but she also became a good friend to many of us.

Anabela’s son, Bernardo, suffers from cerebral palsy since he was 20 days old, when he underwent surgery following hydrocephalus. At the age of six, he lost his father and financial difficulties led to interruption of the alternative medicine treatments he was subjected to in the early days. Bernardo was totally dependent on his mother, Anabela.

Since the COVID outbreak, when the Cisco office closed down, Anabela has not been able to work at all. Her son Bernardo has been very ill, and Anabela herself has contracted COVID twice. Having said this, she is in a very difficult financial situation, with school fees, nurse fees and medication fees to pay.

We have been helping Anabela from time to time during the lock down, but now we would like to do something bigger for her to cover the fees that are mounting up.

It would be great to see the whole Cisco office coming together to help Anabela out of this very difficult situation, so she would be able to relax and heel.

We are so thankful to each one of you for being part of this campaign and helping Anabela and Bernardo
