Help an Indian student who met with an accident

Donation protected

Hi, I am Jhahnavi Bheri. My cousin sister, Sahithi, is a graduate student at Northwest Missouri State University. On the night of March 2nd, my cousin sister met with a tragic car accident on US Highway 71 while traveling as a passenger with her friend. The car hit a traffic light pole and was severely damaged leaving Sahithi severely injured. She was rushed to emergency care at Mosaic Life Care in St Joseph, Missouri.

The doctors diagnosed that Sahithi is suffering from Cervical spine fracture, infrarenal aortic dissection, small bowel perforation, omental injury and burst fracture of the L2 vertebra
She underwent several surgeries (small bowel and omental repair, aortic graft placement, laminectomy and reduction of the burst fracture with rods and screws along with fusion) at Mosaic Life Care and is currently in the ICU. Doctors cannot say for certain when she can be discharged from the hospital due to the severity of her injuries and the surgeries she had underwent. And she is facing several months of recovery and even then full recovery is all we are hoping and praying for.

She is a student here and her parents are in India, we are looking for support from friends and family and good-hearted people to help support a part of her medical expenses.
Please don’t ignore this request and consider donating whatever is possible as any help would go a long way in supporting her treatment and recovery.

Thank you for your support and please share with others to get her as much help as possible.
