Hi, my name is Amber.

I’m a mother of three amazing kids and a survivor of more battles than most will ever know. After years of hardship, I finally secured stable housing — a safe and beautiful place for my children and me. We moved in on the 1st of the month, and it feels like a dream finally within reach.

But there’s one thing holding us back: our car — our only means of transportation to work, school, and essential appointments — was towed due a car accident and one unpaid parking ticket. My insurance is not the best because money is tight. The tow yard is demanding $90 a day to release it, and with the holiday weekend delays, the fees piled up faster than I could react. Only after 4 days they wanted to charge me $800.

I’ve applied for loans and assistance, but time is running out. Without this vehicle, we are stranded, vulnerable, and unable to make our move fully possible. I’m asking for your help to raise $3,500 — enough to retrieve the car and cover any remaining fees and transportation costs.
