I AM SOOOO GRATEFUL for the funds received from the donors! The funds covered the May 2021 semester & the remainder went towards the 3rd semester (September 2021).
During summer 2021 - I was saving immensely & was able to cover the 3rd semester (September 2021) in full with my savings just in time for the semester to begin.
The funds seen $8,265 were previously donated back in April 2021 to cover the May 2021 semester, of which taxes was taken out from it from GoFundMe.
My program is without any breaks so it doesn't allow me to work full time hours - & so I am STILL IN DIRE NEED OF HELP in making this last lap of my college program (2 semesters remain) amounting to 13,000 in total!

I am Amanda (Rusheyne), an international student living in Canada since December 2020. I started my two-year post-graduate studies in January 2021 at Fanshawe College in the School of Hospitality & Tourism Operations Management in London, Ontario.
Before traveling, I had paid for my first semester tuition. I travelled to Canada with my second semester tuition however due to the ongoing pandemic things didn't go according to plan - delay in papers which led to delays in jobs and also apartment rental. I had to go into survival mode especially with having husband and my daughter here with me. I am finishing up my first semester and so far I am doing great.
My second semester's tuition fee was due March 18th and the only extension I was given by the School's Registrar is May 7th. My studies are continuous and there isn't any breaks in between - so my 3rd semester will be in the fall (September) and that tuition is due in June. I have exhausted every options there is and it turns out there isn't much for international students here; either they are geared towards domestic students or I need a guarantor/co-signer which is very hard to get.
My husband and I have been trying to get a job for the longest while, but due to the pandemic we have been jobless from the time we got here in Canada up until March 2021. Unfortunately, because of this, we have used up our savings. We even went through an employment agency and to date nothing have come through on that end. We finally landed a job in the end of March but the hours range from 9 - 20 hours weekly etc.
We are barely surviving through this pandemic. I have reached out to my school - the policies are that I need to pay by May 7th or face being removed from the program and going back to my home country. I won’t be able to continue studying if I don’t ask for help, its awful to find yourself in this position, but as well, I know I have met people who will help me happily if they can as they know me and know how passionate I’m about chasing my dreams. I am also unable to see the upcoming semester (May) class schedule due to non-payment of tuition.
I am seeking assistance for my tuition thats due by May 7th with the possibilities of being able to fund my textbook and resources that I will also need. Also, if it's possible to have some funds towards the 3rd semester in the event that nothing hasn't picked up as we are currently facing a lockdown in Ontario which just extended with stricter measures.
Any assistance that you can provide will be greatly appreciated. I will attach photos at the end for your reference.
