Help Alyssa on her road to recovery

On Sunday, August 7th, Alyssa was on her way home from her shift at the Trojan Grill when a deer ran in the road causing her to lose control of her vehicle and crash into the trees.

The impact was so great, it caused Alyssa to sustain life changing injuries. Alyssa has already undergone one 8 hour surgery to repair her right hip, the right side of her pelvic bone and both ankles, however one of her ankles has a large hole that can not be closed and will need to be monitored to ensure it heals properly. 

Alyssa is still in the hospital’s critical care unit and will undergo another grueling 6-8 hour surgery on Thursday to repair her left hip, left pelvic bone and other broken bones. We pray all goes well.

Alyssa and her fiance’ Austin's wedding was planned for September, 2023. They, along with their beautiful 2 year old daughter, were excited to begin their new life together when this devastating tragedy hit them last weekend.  Alyssa and her family, especially her mom Donna, are 2 of the most caring and generous individuals you will ever meet. They are strong, but they need our help and prayers to get them through this nightmare. Alyssa and Austin's love is strong and amidst the life altering changes this tradegy will bring, their future still shines bright.

After Alyssa is released from the hospital, she will have a long and painful road to recovery including rehab and months in physical therapy.
