help Alice kick up her heels again

Alice is a much loved pony by all that know her she's the sweetest girl to have around

Sadly on the 15th of June she had a nasty field accident resulting in emergency surgery at leahurst equine hospital were she had her tendon sheath flushed due to infection , she also fractured both splint bones and fragments were removed and a nasty hemotoma ,she spent 10 days in hospital on antibiotics infusions into the effected leg , Alice was then discharged with strict vetarnary care for weeks to come , we are insured but at this point we have used up the balance in full, which may compromise her recovery process if we can't keep up her care , we covered her with a cost we thought was enough but unfortunately it was not .

Asking the public for help is something we thought we wouldn't ever have to do , but for the love of our Alice we put our pride aside and ask for your help , along with myself and others we are  fundraising too selling items we no longer use to help the funds we've received gifts to sell the help along the way I can not thank enough the people who have helped transporting her to and from  the hospital thank you will never be enough ! 

Alice is still at risk of infection due to the tendon sheath not being sealed as there was not enough surrounding skin to cover it up  she will need regular vet visits every 3_5 days ,bandage changes, and constant checks for any deterioration in her tendon region, Alice,s prognosis is 75% chance of full recovery with the aftercare , 25% chance of gaining an infection and deteriorating,

  it's a chance I think she deserves , she's come so far with the help of friends, leahurst and Gillivers vets who have been amazing throughout her journey to recovery ,we just want her to reach the finish line without her being compromised of the care she needs
