Help Alexa rebuild from tragic massage studio fire

Donation protected

My amazing, self employed, talented massage therapist sister, Alexa, suffered a tragedy this weekend when her massage studio burned down in the middle of the night. Twenty-seven small, independent business owners lost their livelihoods, including my sister. After a year of Covid, which required close-contact businesses like hers and the others in the building to close completely, they were all just starting to try and get on their feet again.

Alexa has spent 16 years in the building, renting her space, but making it her own while building her clientele and business. She lost everything she needs in order to work and support herself and her daughter. Countless people have benefited from her tremendous skills, caring, strength, generosity and kindness as she has treated them in her calm and peaceful space. When she sees someone in need, she's the first to offer assistance, unconditionally. Now she's the one in need.

Please help Alexa rebuild in a new space. She is hesitant to ask for help, so I'm starting this campaign to allow those who love her to show her how much she is appreciated and needed. She needs a new space, new equipment, supplies, oils, furniture, literally everything needed to create a serene and functional massage studio.

She has worked so hard to get to where she is, has helped so many of us, and now she needs our help to keep her in business. Thank you for your help. Every little bit makes a difference, just as Alexa has for all of us!

All donations will go toward securing a new location, equipment and supplies to rebuild her business. Alexa wanted me to also thank everyone who has offered her and this community much needed emotional support, temporary working space and loaned supplies for the short-term. Also, her hands are still intact so she continues to work and thanks her clients for playing musical massage space until she establishes a new permanent home. Everyone is grateful most of all, that no one was in the building at the time of the fire. Things, they can be replaced.

Thank you for your help!!!
