Donate to help Alex pay for her medical bills

Hi, my name is Fiona, and I'm fundraising on behalf of my best friend, Alex. Recently engaged, she has been battling against one complication after the next with her health since Easter. She has been trying to overcome every hardball thrown her way, but she needs some help.

Starting with her loss of strength to loss of vision, she faced it with optimism and bravery. She continued to work while hospitalized, trying to stay positive and enthused.

Until she was laid off on May 13th.

And with one medical complication after another for emergency surgeries, and over 32 days hospitalized, it's starting to take its toll.

She has been recently diagnosed with Arachnoiditis, and between the pain and the emergency surgery complications, she has now lost the ability to walk. We are doing our very best to help her walk down the aisle later this year; we just need a little bit of help to cover the rising medical costs.

Our goal is 5,000 to help Alex and her fiancé help her get the treatment she needs so that they can pull through this rough patch of their lives together.
