On 5/18/2025, 17-year-old Alessia was the passenger in a car that was struck by a drunk driver fleeing police at over 100 mph. The impact caused life-threatening injuries, including a shattered femur requiring a metal rod, a broken foot, and a perforated intestine that led to emergency surgery. Alessia turned 18 while in the ICU, surrounded not by friends and cake—but by monitors, wires, and uncertainty.

Alessia was just weeks away from graduating high school and preparing to start college when her life was turned upside down. Instead of senior celebrations, she is now beginning a long road to recovery—physically, emotionally, and mentally.

This fundraiser was created to support Alessia and her family with the wide range of expenses they now face, including:
