Help Alana Battle Breast Cancer

It’s hard to know what to say or what to do to help someone when they are diagnosed with cancer. We are Alana’s work colleagues and want to help Alana and her husband Aram so that they can focus on fighting this horrible disease and not have to worry about the other things in life such as medical bills, living expenses etc.
Alana and her devoted husband Aram are young newlyweds having only got married in March 2019. As they started their new life as a married couple, they were over the moon to be expecting their first baby who arrived in February of this year, precious baby girl Sienna Grace (now only 5 months old). This should be the most joyous time of her life, celebrating and enjoying parenthood.
Alana is only 31 years old.
While breastfeeding, Alana felt a lump in her breast. As any new mum, she thought it was likely a blocked milk duct, part of the job of providing for her newborn baby. Just to be sure, she went to see the doctor to get it checked. Following a series of scans, biopsies and tests, on 10 June 2020 Alana was diagnosed with Breast Cancer (Grade 3 Intraductal Carcinoma). It was recently confirmed that it has spread to her lymph nodes and it’s growing aggressively.
On the 23rd June, Alana commenced her journey with a surgical line insertion to prepare for chemotherapy treatment which she started on the 7th July. The current plan includes 5 months of chemotherapy, followed by surgery to remove any remaining cancer, and radiotherapy. It will be a long, tough road ahead for Alana but she has the determination and fight to win this battle. We are all right behind her.

"I will survive, I will watch my daughter grow and I will be here until I am an old woman to appreciate every minute of my life with my husband, daughter, family and friends every single day!"
"The love and support I have already received has blown my mind so thank you everyone for helping on this journey so far.”
Alana is such a kind hearted and beautiful soul. Always putting others first and there to lend a hand to family and friends when they need it. Now, she is the one in need of help and it’s our turn.
Whatever you can give, any amount at all, can make a difference. Alana and Aram shouldn’t have to worry about anything apart from getting better and looking after their new gorgeous daughter, Sienna.
