Help AJ Get a Computer

Hi! My name is AJ and I'm a white, deaf, trans researcher and organizer desperately in need of a computer.

I'm in the first week of my PhD program in Sociology studying how capitalism and mass incarceration depend on one another. I also run a popular website for butch, stud, and gnc lesbians called butchstudsubmit and am organizing letter writing to incarcerated people with other queer and trans people in my city! To sustain all of these things during COVID, I need a computer. Unfortunately, my computer just broke completely this morning after 5 years of chugging along. I'm already falling behind schedule with my classwork and research, and am also worried about the future of butchstudsubmit, which I have been running singlehandedly since 2018 and which many young queer people turn to for community.

I just moved to PA from NYC and the move took most of my savings. I'm still waiting on my first paycheck through my teaching assistantship, for which I only receive a small stipend that covers basic living costs. Please help fund my new computer -- my livelihood and activism depend on it! Anything is appreciated, and if you can give a couple dollars please share!
