Help Aid Ty's Recovery After Being Hit by a Car

Hello, we are the KA Fraternity at the University of Southern California. This past weekend one of our beloved brothers and treasurer, Ty Kawamura, was involved in a very serious accident on 28th street. Ty was struck by an SUV and proceeded to get his upper body run over leaving him with extremely serious injuries. Ty is currently battling several skull fractures, a lacerated liver, and a collapsed lung on top of a multitude of other very serious injuries. It is truly a miracle and a blessing Ty is still with us today.

 

Although Ty will eventually make a full recovery his road to health will be difficult, arduous, and plagued with constant doctor appointments, physical therapy, and possible surgeries. This is where we need your help. Ty’s recovery will be long and more crucially, very expensive. As a fraternity, our chapter wants to help Ty’s family deal with the financial burden of this tragedy so his parents can focus on providing unconditional love for their child and not having to worry about mounting bills. Every dollar pledged to this gofundme is a dollar spent in impacting the life of Ty and his family. Ty has always been a selfless individual who sacrificed so much to those he loves and as a community, it is our responsibility to do the same to Ty when he is in need. Thank you so much.
