Help Ahmed and his family to survive the genocide in Gaza

Hello, my is Bahaa Eleyan and I am fundraising for my dear friend Ahmed Fayyad and his family (5 persons) who have been displaced in Rafah for the last 5 months.
I have known Ahmed since we were 15 years, a time when our hopes for the future were high, and our belief in the power of youth to effect change was strong.
It pains me deeply to see the suffering our people endure, especially knowing I am unable to directly assist my family or Ahmed and other friends as I currently reside in Norway.
Gazans knows war, but a genocide is another level of dehumanizing, daily endless suffering, death flying in the sky harvesting more souls.
Ahmed and his family are running out of all survival tools and methods, they have already been displaced from the north of Gaza in the first weeks of November, ending up in Rafah where they moved in different places as the city got crowded and crowded with the Israeli military constantly pushing the population towards Rafah, ending up now with over 1.5 million displaces Gazans stuck in Rafah - south of Gaza Strip - which used to be inhabited by no more than 200,000 people, before the genocide.
Ahmed is an actor, he spent years pursuing his passion despite a very challenging cultural environment, with an economy that doesn't provide enough living for culture workers and artists, yet he wanted to keep doing what he likes to do, and push life forward no matter how heavy it can be.
As Ahmed and his family depends on daily wage jobs, it has been extremely tough on them the last 6 months to survive and afford life basics without an income, a situation that thousands of Gazans are suffering from.
Sometimes i wonder myself how does one day feels in Gaza currently, a full day of surviving a genocide, how does it look like, how does it feel like, and i only left Gaza 4 years ago, which make me a survivor or three major wars in Gaza, yet i struggle to picture the full day of surviving a genocide in Gaza currently.
One day in December i asked Ahmed to describe a day he goes through, he said:
" At 7 am i take the bread dough to the bakery, i have to stand in long line until sometime between 11 - 12, then i take all the batteries and phones to a supermarket where i can charge them , after that i have to go fill in water and stand in a two hours line to get that, then i go to the market to try to get some vegetables or whatever available or affordable to secure a meal for the family , after that i go to the school shelter, where they distribute some aid, to get some beans or cheese or tuna, before you know it, it is evening time, I connect the batteries to have some light, and i am dead tired , ready to sleep, but not ready for intense night full of bombardments , which is always the case ".
That has been the case for 5 months for Ahmed and his family, as all Gazans they have been left to the brutality of a genocidal occupation controlling every aspect of their life and survival.
Ahmed and his family are extremely exhausted and concerned for what's coming, as Israel's military keeps talking about invading Rafah, and not allowing the return to the north of Gaza, which seems one way plan, that lead to death and eternal displacement.
Ahmed and his family wish to evacuate the Gaza Strip to Egypt, therefore i am making this fundraising to help them achieve this goal, with your generous contribution to support their need to survive.
I am the most aware of how difficult it is for Ahmed and his family to be in this position of need, but they have given their most resilient capacity to survive six months of genocide, and it does not ease on them, they need a plan B.
The money raised is to secure the boarder fee to cross to Egypt, a fee that was put by the Egyptian authorities since the beginning of the genocide, which cost 5000 USD for adults. a fee that makes it extremely difficult to leave Gaza, yet some people have sold everything they own, to get to survive.
Help Ahmed and his family survive this madness, contribute as much as you can, and more importantly help us share the link and the story among your friends and community.

Thanks in Advance
