Help Adare Afford Hand Surgery

Aloha everyone! Adare is busting their butt to make money for their hand surgery, but they need help!

Adare has Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and over the past three years their hands have started to break down. EDS is a connective tissue disorder, so most of their bones move out of place, and while they can deal with a lot, losing the use of their hands is a nightmare for an amazing artist like Adare.

Good news! There is one surgeon in the America who pioneered hand surgery for EDS!

More good news! It has a 92% success rate!

Bad news, he's 72 years old, and will probably retire soon, so Adare has to do this now.

Good news! Adare has an appointment to get one hand done in January, and the second in April!

More bad news, its $20K per hand, and their insurance won't cover a cent.

Good news! Their insurance will cover the hospital stay.

To be expected bad news, Adare has to cover the hospital co-pay.

Add on all the flights, to Seattle Washington and back, and it's going to cost around $50,000 out of pocket.

Right now, Adare has been scrimping, saving, and selling as much art as they can to make this happen, but they need your help. We’re doing a fund raiser now for their left hand, and we’ll do a second fund raiser in the spring for their right hand.
