Help Adam Study-Abroad This Summer

Hi! I'm Adam and I'm trying to raise funds for my participation in the International Lyric Academy this summer, which will take me to the cities of Venice and Vicenza, Italy.

This program's purpose is to train students through rigorous private lessons, coachings, masterclasses, recitals, and concerts. It will culminate in a full production of Le nozze di Figaro by W.A. Mozart.

I'm currently a Music student at California State University Fullerton, expecting to graduate in 2025. I aspire to be a choir director, a voice teacher, and a performing opera singer. With dreams this big I must involve myself in as many extracurricular activities as possible to get career-related experience. During the 2022 school year, I auditioned and was invited to the Lyric Academy program. Later, I was invited to fly to Texas to perform and compete at the National Opera Association's Robert Hanson Collegiate Opera Scenes Competition.

Unlike other experiences, the program in Italy is not funded by the school. I must be able to pay $6300 by summer while balancing being a full-time student and paying rent with a part-time job. I'm looking for the help of friends and family, and would truly appreciate any financial help. It will go a long way in my education and future.

The embedded video comes from the Fall 2022 Opera Scenes hosted at CSUF. There is an initial explanation of the scene and the opera, and then the music begins. I am the one singing the solo at the start of the music.

The next embedded video is from the National Opera Association conference in Houston Texas. I had a smaller role here but it was still an amazing experience where I learned so much and gained so much more motivation.
