Help ACE thrive not Survive

Donation protected

I always wanted a Doberman so when I bought my first house, I bought Ace :) he was 10weeks old when I picked him up.. The moment I saw him I was in love! For the last 6 years he’s been my world and hasn’t left my side. He’s gotten me though some of the toughest times in my life, and given me some of the best. Ace has the sweetest soul and an incredible personality. Anyone who has met him would agree. He has an infectious personality and leaves an impact on anyone lucky enough to meet him. He’s 6 years old as of Oct 18 but still runs around and acts like a puppy. I know how much joy he not only brings me but so many people, and this is why I made him a therapy/emotional support dog.

So as I’m sure you can imagine I was completely devastated when I was told he has a tumor inside his bone of his left leg. For the last couple years I’ve been wanting to travel to Thailand. That time finally came a few weeks ago, and to my surprise a proposal!! My parents were watching ace has they always do (he loves grandma and grandpas house) when they noticed after his morning run in the field he was limping. Knowing he is my BABY, my child, they didn’t want to take any chances and took him to the vet. X-rays were done which showed he had a torn left ACL, and a TUMOR most likely cancer in the same leg. My parents didn’t want to tell me until I came back because they knew I’d be devastated. Unfortunately after my 23 hour flight home excited to celebrate our engagement. I saw I had a voicemail. I was sitting in New York airport at 7:30 in the morning waiting my last flight practically delirious when I got a voicemail from the vet talking about x-rays. I frantically called my parents and received the horrible news. I was beside myself for the next 6 hrs until I got to their house to hold my boy! Since then he has gotten a biopsy, and more X-rays. I am asking for help because I want Ace to be able to receive the care that he needs when he needs it. This money will go directly to him for medication, surgery, labs, and diagnostic testing. If it is in fact osteosarcoma. I will need to amputate the leg right away just because it is so painful and he will have to be on medication to keep him comfortable. If I’m lucky enough and it is not cancer I will still need to have his knee repaired. Unfortunately there is a slim chance isn’t not cancerous According to all the specialist. Please help me keep Ace comfortable and help him thrive not just survive. He is my everything I don’t want him to be in pain. Anyone that is able to donate I really appreciate it, thank you so much. I hate to even have to ask for help. And for those of you who are not able to donate please spread the word and thank you for taking the time to read my story. Thank you so much!!

Right before his first surgery yesterday.. still my happy boy
