Relocated to Philly Help With Expenses

Update as many of you know we spent a week in Philly to get the fluid removed from the babies lungs.  We were released from the Philly hospital when they thought the fluid was taking care of its self.  Once back home at her latest appointment it was discovered that the fluid has returned and the shunt will have to be placed in the babies lung.  Abi is missing all of this time from work and does not have PTO time to cover the time she is missing.   Her bills are not going anywhere . Thank you for taking the time to read this. My little sister Abigail and her boyfriend Chris are 26 weeks pregnant with a baby girl. Abi found out the baby has been diagnosed with "Fetal pleural effusion". This means that there is an accumulation of fluid in the chest cavity of a developing fetus. As the fluid increases, it can compress the developing lungs and heart. Abigail has been refered for URGENT evaluation to the Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. They want to do a procedure to take the fluid out of the lungs so that they have a better chance of developing.  Abi found out today Wednesday April 14th, that she needs to be in Philadelphia on Friday April 16th. By donating you will be helping Abi afford the drive down to Philadelphia. Gas, tolls, and once she is there, a place to stay. She will need to be in Philly for 7-10 days and needs to find housing for most of the time.
